Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) organised an interaction at the Noida Special Economic Zone (NSEZ) Campus on 15.05.2019 (Wednesday) with representatives of various companies that have their offices in the NSEZ campus. Mr. P. D. Upadhyay, Executive Director / NMRC; Mr. Manoj Vajpayee, General Manager / NMRC; Mr. Rajneesh Pandey, Asst. General Manager (HR) / NMRC; Mr. L. B. Singhal, Development Commissioner / NSEZ; Mr. S. S. Shukla, Jt. Development Commissioner / NSEZ, Mr. Ajay Goel. President / NSEZ Entrepreneurs’ Association and other senior officers from NMRC and NSEZ.
Representatives from around 40 companies participated in the interaction and gave their feedback regarding the Metro services in the area and their expectations from NMRC. The Aqua Line has a dedicated station near the NSEZ campus called the NSEZ Metro Station. NMRC has also constructed a Foot Over Bridge from the NSEZ station to the NSEZ Campus for facilitating the movement of commuters who use the Metro Line to travel to their offices in the NSEZ Campus.
The feedback received from the representatives of the companies includes issues like fares higher than other mode of transportation, seamless connectivity between Sector 51 station of the Aqua Line and Sector 52 station of DMRC’s Blue Line, provision of direct connectivity between Botanical Garden and Sector 142, providing last mile connectivity by deploying more e rickshaws and feeder buses.
NMRC officials promised the best possible solutions to all the above issues and gave the assurance of providing world class services to its commuters. Pamphlets having details of the new feeder bus routes were also distributed among the participants. NMRC also explained the features of the unique Smart Card and other ticketing options like QR paper ticket and Mobile App generated QR code for travelling.
Connectivity between Sector 51 of the Aqua Line and Sector 52 station of DMRC’s Blue Line was also explained as many people were unaware of the dedicated pathway built by NMRC between the two stations and the free e – rickshaw service available for passengers on this stretch.
NMRC also assured that E – Rickshaws and feeder buses can be provided at designated intervals to facilitate the movement of employees working in NSEZ. Besides this, NMRC offered its stations premises to the companies for organising various CSR activities
