NMRC submits the Detailed Project Report (DPR) from Sector-142 to Botanical Garden to the Government of Uttar Pradesh

Noida Metro, in a significant stride towards bolstering its connectivity network, has taken a decisive step by submitting the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the proposed corridor extension from Sector-142 to Botanical to the Government of Uttar Pradesh. NMRC Board in its meeting held on 27.12.2023 approved the DPR.

The submitted DPR outlines the comprehensive plan for extending the metro corridor, catering to the burgeoning demands of commuters and fostering enhanced accessibility across critical nodes in the region. This strategic expansion endeavor aligns with Noida Metro's commitment to providing efficient, sustainable, and modern transit solutions that significantly contribute to the region's socio-economic growth. The proposed corridor extension from Sector-142 to Botanical holds the promise of offering seamless connectivity, easing the commute for thousands of residents, employees, and visitors traversing through the vital areas of Noida and adjoining regions. The key benefits of the Project which includes the following:-

• Multi-model integration with Botanical Garden Bus Stand, IGI Airport via Magenta Line and Indian Railways via Blue Line
• Projected ridership of approx. 80,000 in initial years
• Seamless and faster connectivity for the commuters travelling for Noida-Greater towards Delhi and vice-versa
