15th August, 2021 is a Special Day for all Indians as this day marks the 75th Day of Independence more so when the Government of India is celebrating 75th Independence Day as Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav.
Noida Metro Rail Corporation Limited (NMRC) today celebrated this auspicious day by remembering the significant contribution and sacrifice made by freedom fighters and heros of nation in India's Independence. Mrs. Ritu Maheshwari, MD/NMRC accompanied by Shri Praveen Mishra, Executive Director / NMRC hoisted the national flag on the occassion and received guard of honor from guard commandant present on the occasion. All officers and employees present at the occasion sang national anthem and paid respect to the Nation and the National Flag.
Celebrating Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav, NMRC in house talent showcased their skills by preparing eco-friendly rangoli's on Indian's Independence theme and by wonderful singing performance by superbly talented employees on patriotic songs.
Addressing the employees, Mrs. Ritu Maheshwari stated that every individual should contribute towards nation building. Mrs. Maheshwari appreciated the hardwork and dedication of NMRCs employees during the tough Covid period and also urged them to perform more significantly and serve the common people with great commitment. Mrs. Maheshwari also urged the employees and officials try to reduce the expenditure and increase the revenue so that the NMRC can stand on its own foot. She also urged the NMRC officials to find out the innovative ideas for increasing the non-fare box revenue.
Mrs. Maheshwari also stated about new project line from Sector-51 to Knowledge Park-V which is at advance stage. She stated that the DPR is likely to be approved by the end of this year which will be big challenge for NMRC.
To display NMRCs participation in Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav, NMRC has made special lighting arrangement at Sector 51 and Pari Chowk Station of Aqua Line Corridor to celebrate 75th year of India's Independence and also to respect and honor the commitment of India's Armed Forces, Police Force and Health Care Workers.
