Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) has discontinued its parking facility from 05 (five) Metro stations w.e.f. from today i.e., 06.01.2021.
NMRC was providing Parking Facility for commuters at 10 (ten) stations of the Aqua Line. Out of these 05 (five) Metro stations will no longer provide Parking Facility. These are: Sector 81, Pari Chowk. Sector -101, Sector -137 and Sector 142.
The earnings from these stations were very less and NMRC had also deployed additional contractual staff at these stations to manage the Parking Lots. The decision to discontinue the Parking facility at these stations has been taken by NMRC as a measure to optimise operational cost and curtail additional expenditure.
Parking facility will be available at the remaining 05 (five) stations namely: Sector 51, Sector 76, Knowledge Par – II, Alpha 1 and Delta 1.
The Parking Rates currently being charged by NMRC are as follows:
