NMRC CONVENES 32ND BOARD MEETING

Noida Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (NMRC) convened its 32nd Board Meeting on 05.08.2022 (Friday) via video conferencing at Block-III, 3rd Floor, Ganga Shopping Complex, Sector-29, Noida 201301.

The Board Meeting was chaired by Shri Kamran Rizvi, Chairman (NMRC) & Additional Secretary, MoHUA and was attended by the following Board Members from the NMRC Smt. Ritu Maheshwari, MD/NMRC & CEO Noida, Shri Surendra Singh, CEO, Greater Noida, Shri Jaideep, Director NMRC & OSD (UT) / MoHUA and Shri V.K. Jain (Project Monitoring), Railway Board.

Shri Praveen Mishra, ED / NMRC & ACEO / Noida Authority and other senior officials also attended this Board Meeting.

Following approvals were given by the Board:-

1. approval of the financial statement 2021-22 & statutory report thereon

2. approval of Internal Audit Report

3. approval of appointment of internal audit firm for next financial year

The Board discussed to expedite the Govt. of India approval of DPR from Sector-51 to Knowledge Park-V as early as possible for ease of commuters and ridership enhancement.

Board was also informed regarding FOB between Sector-51 & 52 metro stations will be now be constructed by NOIDA Authority and the work is under process. Estimation for the FOB is prepared and the tender is likely to be floated latest by 20th August,2022.

Board was further informed that NMRC is taking active efforts for providing last mile connectivity to the commuters. For this purpose NMRC has recently floated an EoI for providing feeder bus service on PPP Model whose last date of submission of application is 18th August, 2022.
