Implementation of change in minimum balance amount in NMRC smart card for entry at station

1. NMRC is implementing the change in minimum balance amount in NMRC smart card to address operational issues and problems faced by commuters.

2. Minimum balance amount in NMRC Smart Card for entry at station will be increased from Rs. 10 to Rs. 50 w.e.f. 16.01.2023.

3. To inform passengers about the same, regular announcements will also be made at the stations and inside the trains.
