Mrs. Ritu Maheshwari, Managing Director, NMRC inaugurated the training centre on 12th December, 2019 which has been established for training of PAC personnel deployed in security & safety operations of Noida-Greater Noida corridor as well as for training of O&M staff of NMRC. Through this training centre specialized training would be imparted to PAC personnel(s) by senior PAC Officials with an aim to equip them with all desired skills necessary for rendering their services in an efficient manner at metro stations. Further, through the extension of this training centre, training would also be provided by experienced NMRC Officials to the Direct recruited personnel(s) of NMRC operations staff to develop skills necessary for running the operations & maintenance function of the Corporation. Refresher training will also be imparted to equip personnel with new skills, methods and processes necessary for rendering services.
Safety and Security of the commuters has also been on the priority list of NMRC and presently around 727 no. of personnel(s) have been deployed for security and safety of Noida-Greater Noida Corridor which includes personnel(s) of 49th PAC Battalion and private security agency. Till date no untoward incident has been reported since the commencement of commercial operations.
Mrs. Ritu Maheshwari, Managing Director, NMRC also inaugurated the Kendriya Bhandar, set up at staff colony for NMRC staff residing in the NMRC Staff Quarters. With Kendriya Bhandar set up at Staff Quarter, staff of the NMRC residing in staff Quarter/Colony will be able to procure all essential items of daily needs at reasonable prices. Further the local residents from the nearby areas will also be able to procure items of daily need at reasonable prices through a special gate/counter created for outsiders.
Kendriya Bhandar is a welfare project established for the benefit of Central Govt. employees and public at large.
Senior Officials of the NMRC including Shri Manoj Vajpayee (GM-Technical), Shri R.K. Saxena (Chief Operations Officers-N/GN Corridor), Shri Rajneesh Pandey (AGM-HR) and officials of 49th PAC Battalion were also present at the occasion.
RIDERSHIP AND REVENUE FIGURES OF NOIDA-GREATER NOIDA CORRIDOR (AQUA LINE)During the month of November, 2019, the Average Daily Ridership stood at 22059 and the Average Daily Revenue stood at INR 6,44, 640.
