NMRC starts a drive to remove unauthorized advertisement in the premises of NMRC NMRC has started a drive to remove unauthorized advertisements in its premises. NMRC will initiate strict action against unauthorized advertisements pasted on its premises (Metro pillars/stations/Parking area etc). This act of unauthorized advertisement leads to the defacement of the metro property.

As per the provisions of the Metro O&M Act, 2002, defacing, altering, obliterating letters or figures, etc of Metro Property, willfully or otherwise, is a punishable offence. All are advised not to deface Metro properties by pasting bills, advertisements, notices, etc. Otherwise suitable punitive action will be taken.
