NMRC CONVENES 26TH BOARD MEETING FOLLOWED BY ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Noida, December 24, 2020

Noida Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (NMRC) today convened its 26th Board Meeting followed by the 6th Annual General Meeting. Both the meetings were conducted via video conferencing at the NMRC Headquarters in Noida.

The Board Meeting was chaired by Shri Kamran Rizvi, Chairman (NMRC) & Additional Secretary, MoHUA and was attended by the following Board Members from the NMRC - Smt. Ritu Maheshwari, MD / NMRC & CEO Noida; Shri Shyam Sunder Dubey, Director NMRC & Joint Secretary and Financial Advisor, MoHUA; Shri Jaideep, Director NMRC & OSD(UT) / MoHUA; Shri. Alok Kumar, Director NMRC & Principal Secretary, Infrastructure Industrial Development Department, UP; Shri Narendra Bhooshan, Director NMRC & CEO, Greater Noida; Shri Bhuvnesh Kumar Gupta, Director NMRC & ED/ Project (Monitoring), Railway Board and Shri Vinay Kumar Singh, Director NMRC & MD (NCRTC).

From NMRC Shri Praveen Mishra, ED / NMRC & ACEO / Noida Authority; Shri Pankaj Malhotra, GM / Finance; Shri Manoj Vajpayee, GM / Technical, Shri Rajneesh Pandey, AGM / HR, Ms. Nisha Wadhawan, Company Secretary and other senior officials were present during the meeting.

The Board Meeting was convened for standard statutory compliance, like closing of accounts for the Financial Year 2019 – 2020 and appointment of Auditors (Statutory, Secretarial and Internal) for the Financial Year 2020 - 2021.

The Board also deliberated the matter of City Bus Service and authorized MD / NMRC to terminate the Contract of City Bus, in view of various violations, as per the clauses in the Contract.
